It’s located with main road access into Leeds and with stunning leisure options on the doorstep meaning the city can feel as near or as far away as you wish.
Rents here aren’t always the cheapest but it is certainly one of Leeds’ most desirable postcodes. And well worth a drive around to see some of the more lavish accommodation on offer and some rather impressive car collections!
Alwoodley has a nice mix of housing with some stunning mansions and large detached properties (which are probably a little out of most renters’ budgets!) but also a nice mix of modern purpose-built flats which make a much more affordable option for those renting in Alwoodley. .There are good routes into Leeds and beyond via the Ring Road, and cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby.
Leisure-wise you’re spoilt for choice if you’re a golfer, but the real draw is the walking, running and biking options around Golden Acre Park, Eccup Reservoir and stunning Harewood Hall (where some of the grounds are open to the public and offer perfect weekend stroll options).
